About Joe O'brien - Artist
Joe O'Brien is an Artist in the Motorcycle "genre" since the late 1980s with his work appearing regularly for many years in Ozbike magazine, Australia's first Custom Motorcycle magazine.
Joe has ridden Motorcycles for over 40 years and currently rides a Supercharged 2000 Duece Harley Twin Cam. What he describes as “a 3 Dimensional Aircraft Billet Sandwich with an Air Pump” as he smiles widely.
- Joe went to 7 Hills Art College in Brisbane.
- He worked for The Courier Mail newspaper for 10 years
- Was voted by his peers in the Top 3 in Australia for his Newspaper Art.
- Joe’s widely known for his amazing Tattoo work, being featured in Australian Tattoo magazines as well as winning Local, State and National Trophies for his Tattoo work as owner of Wild at Heart and High Energy Tattooing in Brisbane, Australia.
