DESCRIPTION:Always wanted to get on track? Don’t risk it\, learn it. Come learn how to master the racing line on this iconic track in instructor led laps around Queensland Raceway! \nAlways wanted to do some circuit racing but don’t know where to start? Our track training is a great first step in to the world of motor racing. \n** Please check with event organisers for updates **\nhttps://www.facebook.com/events/1298280047754839/ \nTake advantage of this instructor led event to make the most of Queensland Raceway and bring those lap times down! \nQueensland Raceway is one of the safest and fastest race tracks in Queensland. We are running an Afternoon track day in conjunction with Time Attack! \nLap Timers are available to hire at $20 for the day with official Natsoft Timing and we can recommend a few mobile apps that work great. \nThe training group includes a theory session before you head out onto the track\, followed by 4 sessions out on the track in a lead follow group with the race instructor leading the pack. During these sessions you will start at 60% pace and work your way up to 100% each session whilst learning braking points\, racing lines and track placement. The instructor is available during the track day to help with questions\, tips and advice \nThe afternoon runs from 13:00 – 17:00\, be at the gates at 11:30 (gives you time to setup and sign in)\, compulsory drivers briefing for all drivers at 12:30. \nThe venue is a great learning race track with plenty run off\, a mix of corner types and top class facilities.\nAll registered and race vehicles are welcome\, this includes all drive types from FWD\, RWD to AWD. No noise limits apply at QR!\nThe event will run for 4 hours and each training group is limited to only 14 drivers! \nRULES:\n– All 16+ drivers welcome! (Unlicensed/Learner drivers are to have an experienced driver as passenger and experienced track drivers that are underage\, 14+ experience track drivers are welcome by prior arrangement with Skid Control)\n– No passengers apart from the above conditions (with prior arrangement)\n– All vehicles are to be in a well maintained condition with no leaks or damage\, seat belts required\n– All panels (Soft top/convertibles must stay closed unless you have roll over protection) \, lights (functioning headlights & taillights) and windows (minimum ¾ closed) must be present on vehicles\n– Decent tyres\, brakes\, fluids and a fire extinguisher are highly recommended\nAustralian or European Safety Standards Approved Helmets required (LIMITED hire available)\n– Full length clothing and closed shoes are required when on the track\n(wrist to toe covered\, with no gaps at the waist\, ankle or any tears in the clothing)\n– No loud music\, revving or general hooning off the track\nPlease arrive at the track on time. If you are late you will miss scheduled check in and miss your first session on track.\n– You cannot race on the day until you have had a driver briefing.\n– Sign in at the sign in building upon arrival and pit where directed by Skid Control staff\n– A AASA license is required for this event\n– If you need to purchase or renew your licence\, please do so from the office as soon as you park in your pits.\n– No dogs or any other pets allowed inside the venue\n– No Alcohol or drugs allowed on the premises \nRight of admission reserved.
